This is the sequelto Shivdasani's earlier film Julie
Viju Shah composes the film's score and sound track while Sameer Reddy handles the cinematography.
Principal photography commenced in September 2015. Filming locations includeMumbai,Hyderabad and Dubai.

A lot has been written about the much-awaited flick 'Julie 2' that stars hit south actress Raai Laxmi. The makers released the teaser trailer of the film raising the anticipation for the film's release further more. The film is the second in a series of sorts, where 'Julie' featured Neha Dhupiain the titular role.The short video clip sees Raai Laxmi inher full glory and gives an inside sneak peek into what one can expect from the story. Shot in beautiful locations overseas, the teaser is a treat for sore eyes. Talking about the same in an interaction with Bombay Times, she was quoted saying, "Julie 2' may have a lot of skin show, but it also has a hard-hitting, relatable story.

Laxmi is a well-known name down south and has a huge number of films to her credit in all four major languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Produced and directed by Deepak Shivdasani, 'Julie 2',
